Sunday Praise! - October 25, 2015

Psalm 108:1-5(New Living Translation)
1 My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!

2 Wake up, lyre and harp!
I will wake the dawn with my song.

3 I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.

4 For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

5 Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.
May your glory shine over all the earth.

This is the time of each week to sing God's praises. God's desire is that we set aside a day for praise and worship, and for most Christians this has been Sunday (or in some circles Saturday). Why praise Him? He created us all, and in our day-to-day lives we can quickly lose sight of Who is the real source of everything we are and have. Let us take the time to give Him praise, and to especially give praise to Jesus for the indescribable gift He has given us: Himself, as the required sacrifice for our sins. May the Holy Spirit bring to your mind God's countless benefits that He has blessed you with.
