Titus 2:11-14(New International Version)
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Each and every day we get up and face the onslaught of the world around us. The pressures and cares of this life are there for us to face head-on as we try to make the day worth living. It is almost impossible, if your not a Christian, to handle life's challenges and retain a certain measure of happiness and sanity. Try tuning into the latest television or radio broadcast, or bringing up the news on your computer without being overwhelmed by the grief, turmoil and anxiety that bombards society every day.
Thank God that He has taken care of this problem. If you are a Christian, you have a "Hope" to look forward to. You know that every new day will be one day closer to being with your Savior. Because Jesus stood in your place and paid the penalty for your sin, you have the opportunity to wake up to this "Hope". All you need to do is accept the free gift of Jesus Christ. What makes it even better, in addition, once you give your life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God takes up residence within you. He will equip you to withstand everything the world throws at you, and He will bring you comfort and "Hope", while you wait for the day you finally meet Him.
