Praying It In - October 25, 2013

Psalm 145:17-19 (New Century Version)
17 Everything the Lord does is right.
He is loyal to all he has made.
18 The Lord is close to everyone who prays to him,
to all who truly pray to him.
19 He gives those who respect him what they want.
He listens when they cry, and he saves them.

For some of you, it continues to be tough. There are daily struggles due to the economy and those inevitably lead to strains at home. Many hopes and desires have been dashed, because things seem to be so tough. Plans have been delayed, and the things that may have been wished for the family have been placed on hold. Relief couldn't come soon enough.

There is hope if you believe in God, and if you have placed those hopes in Jesus Christ. Our loving God gives us directions in His word how best to use His power. As is stated above, God wants only what is right and good for you. He doesn't want to withhold a thing, but there is a pre-requisite; He wants to have a relationship with us, and that relationship, that intimacy He requires, can only be gained through prayer.

Once we establish that relationship in prayer, He will meet those things we are praying for. He will come through for you. Pray, wait and see what the Lord can do!
